sis & little brother

Don't know why July was so busy. I had 10 photo shoots in 2 weeks! You have to understand that I usually only one photo shoot every Saturday and maybe another during the week. But to have 5 in one week is just craziness. After a really rough month, I am going to have to go back to doing a limited number of photo shoots per week. since I am primarily a stay-at-home mom, too many photo shoots is too hard on my kiddos. So if you are interested in a photo shoot, please plan ahead.

That said, I want to share some pictures of this adorable little couple. The little girl was a show stopper and the little boy, well, he wanted to be in his own show.

little man

This munchkin was a joy to photograph. We had fun doing some exploring and watching the trains go by. Thank you for letting me photograph your 2-year mark, little man. May this year be filled with growth and learning and happiness.

newbie

I love this time of year when there are babies born everywhere. This is my fourth newborn in the past two weeks. He was so sweet and very cooperative, despite his mom saying he was a fussy baby. I think he got his feelings hurt and wanted to prove mommy wrong.

the boys

I took my boys out for a "fun" evening of pictures at some urban locations I've been scouting out. My husband had a late night at work, so instead of being home and going crazy, I packed the boys with their corndog dinners and headed downtown. I bribed them with a trip to the candy isle at Wal-mart and they did pretty good. I'm excited for my upcoming urban shoots. A glimpse of what's to come.

fresh & sweet

I'm back from our trip to Utah, which was very invigorating. The highlight was spending time with family and with my parents in-law who just returned from a 3-year mission in Russia. I also had the opportunity to photograph a fresh little baby who still smelled of newborn.

I really enjoy when school's out because I'm able to do more photo shoots during the week, and they're usually babies and kids, which I adore. Little M sure was a cuddly one.

I love doing studio shoots, but I also CRAVE to do something more creative, something on-location and unscripted. So this is the promotion for July (it applies to photo shoots done in the month of July as well as photo shoots scheduled in July): I will be waiving the sitting for any photo shoots taken in an urban location, such as downtown. catching my breath

Things have finally slowed down a bit and I'm able to take a breather. I was lucky enough to do a maternity session. When my client walked in, I didn't believe she was even pregnant. We had to work around the posing to get her belly to show. I think it was a bit camera shy because we finally got it to show. Good luck to you with your upcoming arrival. Babies are such a blessing.

princess overload

Thank you to all who came to the Tutu Party. It was a huge success and we had loads of fun. The models were just radiating with princess beauty! These tutus are amazing.
