Until I had my baby girl, I always craved having one. My good friend has three beautiful girls, all about the same age as my boys. I've always loved them as if they were my own. We'll just have to arrange a marriage between one or all three of them with my boys! These pictures made me miss them and their mother so much. She was one of my first good friends in El Paso after I got married.

dusting it off

Even though I'm not back in business, I still have a passion for photography, and every now and then, I am fortunate to be able to do a few photo shoots, mainly for family and friends. This is how I satiate my creative hunger. Much has happened in the last two years that I last posted, the most important occurrence being the birth of our baby girl! I will post pictures of her official newborn photo shoot probably next week once I get all her birth announcements in the mail. For now, I wanted to post some of my favorite pictures from past photo shoots. I hope there are still some readers out there and if there are, I'd love to hear from you in the comments section!

Going back and looking at these pictures brought back so many emotions of family, of newborn shoots, of my little princess being born. Newborns are not the easiest subjects to photograph, but I always felt something very special when I had a newborn shoot. They are so precious and tender and on many occasions, I couldn't help but feel so emotional that my eyes would get teary. This photo shoot of my beautiful cousin and her baby was no different.

I love meeting young girls that have the full package. It gives me hope that there is still much good in our world. This young lady is one of those gems. Every time I get a chance, I grill her mother with questions on how to be a good mother. She is a great example of one. I feel so blessed to have associated with amazing people like them in El Paso.

remembering
Ten years ago, I married my best friend. I know that sounds cheesy, and that's ok. We had a beautiful reception at Ardovino's Desert Crossing in El Paso, Texas. Since then, Ardovino's has been a personal favorite of mine for photo shoots. It's quaint and charming and I love remembering every time I go back.

utah family part 1
Last Christmas we were able to spend it with loved ones in Utah. Both my husband and I have family there, so it always makes for a busy and fun vacation. I photographed three of our siblings and their families. I love taking pictures in Utah. The colors are beautiful and the sun is not too bright. We were lucky this day and had pretty nice weather for a winter day in December.
