birth announcements

I've had these birth announcements for about a year now and keep forgetting to put them on my website, so I'm just quickly posting them here for now.

beautiful preemie

This beautiful baby was hands down the easiest baby I have ever photographed. He was so sweet and patient. I feel so blessed to have photographed him. Dad suggested putting him out here and they turned out to be my favorite shots from the whole photo shoot. His mom let me play with him for as long as I wanted, so I was in heaven with this little angel.

From time to time I'll go back to my favorite images and play with them. This is one I took about a year and half ago. It's one of my all-time favorites. The 3-piece vintage outfit I got at a thrift store for $3!

energy

I don't think I've ever met a 3-year old that wasn't full of energy. They make photo shoots that much more fun and give me good exercise without having to pay for the gym!

farewell

It's a sad day when one of my most loyal customers moves. I am so lucky to have such great customers. I love them all and i want to send a big THANK YOU to all of you who have made by business thrive. I'm going to miss this family. Good luck to you in your new life with new challenges and new excitements.

These are my good friend's cute little girls. The oldest is such a natural little poser, making life so much easier for me. What more could I ask for. And the little one is sweet-she sang the ABC's for me, along with the bee song. Wished I had a voice recorder instead of a camera, she sounded so cute.

I went out with one of my boys to take some pictures so I could start getting back in practice. It's been a while and I had a photo shoot coming up, so I wanted to make sure I didn't screw up!

Our new joy, born three weeks ago. He was 1 week old in the first picture and 12 days old in the other pictures.

if you're wondering where i've been....

I've been waddling across town with an extra 20 pounds, numb legs, cravings of all kinds, and the excitement and anticipation of a new baby boy in our home. I'm almost 7 months preggos and due April 3rd. So, as you've noticed, I've taken a break from photography and will probably get back to taking pictures sometime in June. So stayed tuned in April for some baby pics since my mind is already turning in all sorts of directions with ideas for newborn pictures.

still here

Christmas season is in full swing now and is actually winding down-yay! This year I limited the photo shoots, so I didn't have as much work as last year and it has been a life saver. I am currently 4 months pregnant and every day I feel like I just ran a marathon. Hopefully soon I will regain my energy.

I still have some fabulous unedited pictures from my workshop in SLC that I will post before the end of the year, hopefully, along with some of the family shoots I've been busy doing these months. In the meantime I leave you with one of my own-the one that doesn't want another baby for fear that it will turn out like his younger brother, who we so affectionately call the Gremlin.

Awesome family + Awesome family = Awesome photo shoot. I get so excited every time I do a photo shoot that's on location, especially when it's a really cool location like this one. This family was totally into the urban photo shoot, which made my work so much more fun and easier. This is what the workshop I'm going to in two weeks is all about. I can't wait!

This soon-to-be mom is this client's sister. Wow, what beautiful sisters! I had a lot of fun photographing her and her hubby and of course, her little belly. How in the world are these women so lucky? She's already 8 months pregnant and I look like that at 5 months! The world is seriously shifted in favor of some-not me!

A lot is going on in my home right now-my oldest is going into Kindergarten, I'm getting pretty busy with holiday shoots and I'm also getting ready to go to a workshop in September so that I can continue to offer you awesome ideas and pictures. With all the chaos, I need to stay organized, so I thought I'd let you know my availability for the next few months. I'm booked up pretty much until the end of October. I do have October 25th, November 1st and November 15th open. I will not be doing any photo shoots past Thanksgiving, so please plan ahead and schedule your photo shoot.

Here are some important dates to keep in mind. Please be considerate. No exceptions will be made.

Nov. 15........Last day for photo sessions.
Nov. 22.......All Christmas cards must be ordered by this date for Dec. 6th delivery.
Dec. 6..........All orders must placed to receive your pictures by Dec. 20th.

Keep in mind that some products take longer to be made, including coffee table books and photo handbags. Here are the deadlines for Christmas delivery on COFFEE TABLE BOOKS:

POLICY CHANGES FOR THE FOLLOWING MONTHS

Because of the demand during the holiday season, I have decided to add a retainer policy. Once you schedule a session for the months of September, October and November, a retainer equal to the amount of your session fee will be due. If you need to cancel, the retainer will not be refunded. Every year I have a waiting list and it wouldn't be fair to those who couldn't schedule if I have cancellations.
